About me and my therapy practice
I am an experienced counsellor with a particular interest in bereavement, loss and trauma. I am currently working for national and local counselling organisations as well as within the private sector. I work with many and varied difficulties and offer an environment that is supportive, confidential and respectful of your needs.
I believe in the importance of keeping up to date with ongoing training and regularly attend supervision. I have gained extensive knowledge within the area of 'trauma', particularly the importance of working safely and taking into account your current and past levels of resilience. I understand that at this time it is difficult to engage with face to face counselling therefore I am offering telephone or alternative methods of working. My ethos is to work with you as a unique individual in a way that feels right for you.
I am a fully qualified supervisor and offer one to one support for anyone in the helping professions. I aim to provide a good balance of guidance and support depending on your level of experience. I will adapt the supervision to your individual need and will respectfully work within your orientation and ethical framework.
I can accommodate trainee counsellors for either counselling or supervision and offer a reduced rate according to individual need.

About me and my therapy practice
I am a qualified Integrative Clinical Supervisor, (Level 6 Diploma) and a BACP Accredited Counsellor with over a decade of experience with clients in organisational, private and NHS settings.
I provide supervision to qualified and trainee counsellors and also to members of other caring professions.
My ethos is to offer a respectful supervisory relationship that is caring, authentic, non-judgemental and supportive.
My aim is to provide a safe space where, using different mediums, you will be able to reflect in depth upon your client work. We will consider relational aspects including personal awareness (whilst respecting the interface between counselling and supervision), as well as theoretical and contextual considerations. I will also provide time for you to reflect upon professional development and any administrative requirements, as well as regularly reviewing professional ethical standards. I work collaboratively, therefore I believe it is important to facilitate an environment that is respectful to your level of experience and need.
Initially I recommend that we meet face to face to discuss your requirements, my fee is £40.00 per hour with some concessions for trainees.
