About me and my therapy practice
My focus is on you as an individual and the importance of your experience in whatever it is that you are going through. We can all make changes to our lives and sometimes we need the space and time to explore this in depth. As a therapist, I will be alongside you in that process to improve your wellbeing and to live more fully. I can support, challenge and help you to move towards a more fulfilling and authentic life.
I am an integrative therapist, putting the relationship between us at the centre of the work and using my training and experience to help you. I believe that we all have the ability to change and being fully heard and accepted for who we are is a significant part of this.
I have 20 years experience as a therapist, working with issues such as bereavement, anxiety, loss, self-esteem and workplace difficulties.
I use theoretical understanding from bereavement work, from transactional analysis and from humanistic therapy to inform my work.
My first session
A first session allows us to explore what is happening for you at the moment, alongside some of the aspects that may be influencing how you deal with it. We will take some time to discuss what you would like to get from therapy and begin to define this together. You can take time to think about this before booking further sessions if you would like to.
