About me and my therapy practice
For the duration of movement restrictions in place owing to the coronavirus I am also able to offer psychotherapy and counselling online.
I provide tailored individual counselling and psychotherapy for a wide range of mental health issues.
People come to therapy for a wide variety of reasons and I aim to gain insight into your individual experience of life in order to understand you better. We can then work together to help you move forwards in a more positive way.
Your problems might have arisen from a number of life experiences such as relationship issues, anxiety, grief from a bereavement or other loss, or perhaps from living with a condition such as ADHD.
Whatever the cause of your distress I will try to help you find a way through.
I am an integrative practitioner, drawing on humanistic, existential and psychodynamic methods of understanding people's life experiences. I can also provide cognitive behavioural therapy and mindfulness where appropriate to my clients' needs.
I have particular expertise in working with people living with ADHD in their family as well as working with younger people aged 16 and over.
We can work in the short term towards a particular goal, or longer term in an open ended way to explore more of what might be troubling you.
