About me and my therapy practice

I am here to help you explore your distressing feelings and create positive change in your life. I provide a safe, confidential, non judgmental environment to work through any difficulties you may be experiencing that aims to help you feel heard, acknowledged and understood. Guiding you with empathy and compassion to provide you with the insights you need to help explore your emotions.

My training and practice is an integrative and relational approach to counselling and psychotherapy. I work by tailoring each session to suit each clients needs, introducing various modalities to work with as we all bring something different. Working at your pace we can find a way forward so that you can lead a more satisfying and fulfilling life.

I have experience working at Petals Baby loss charity. City Pregnancy Counselling and Psychotherapy. Secondary school for Place2be providing a safe place and support for young people. In a GP setting, working with clients presenting a variety of issues.

I work with adults, children, families and couples with various presenting issues such as, bereavement, anxiety, depression, relationships, trauma, low self-worth, divorce.

I have a special interest in working with both individuals and couples with the loss of stillborn, premature babies, single and multiple pregnancy loss supporting them through their trauma. Multiple miscarriages, TFMR, pregnancy anxiety, premature babies. Supporting parents with babies that are in NICU.

I feel that no parent should ever lose a child at any age but unfortunately sadly it happens too often. A parents grief for their child never ends it continues with them on their journey in life.

Individuals and couples that have experienced loss and trauma during pregnancy and birth can, with support and guidance, begin to process their experience and slowly adjust to learn how to live with and manage their emotional responses in a new way in their “new normal”.

Practice description

Throughout our lives we all experience difficulties and challenges. Individuals may wish to change aspects of themselves they are not happy about and see counselling as an opportunity for self-development. Counselling can be an extremely powerful tool to help us become more aware of who we are and gain a better understanding about our relationships with others and the situations we find ourselves in. It can help you figure out what’s wrong and troubling you, if you are experiencing feelings and behaviours you are unsure of and where they are coming from.
