About me and my therapy practice
I am an experienced, accredited counsellor and psychotherapist and have been established in private practice in Teddington since 2001. I work with individuals including young adults from 17 years of age. I also provide supervision to therapists and student therapists from both an Integrative and Psychoanalytic perspective.
My training has been in Integrative counselling and psychotherapy and psychoanalytic psychotherapy. For clients who are seeking help for issues that are not complex and of recent onset I can offer short-term dynamic and cognitive therapy. For difficulties of a longer duration or for which there are less obvious causes, longer-term counselling or psychotherapy can be the appropriate choice. The increased length of therapy can help to clarify thoughts and feelings and to recognise unhelpful repetitive patterns to allow new choices, decisions and even significant changes in your life if desired.
I have had experience in working in NHS staff counselling, University Counselling and private practice.
