About me and my therapy practice
I offer a kind and non-judgmental space to work on what is important to you or causing distress.
We can begin with whatever you feel is relevant or holding you back. Talking therapy provides a platform to improve and move past what can be painful and deep-rooted issues.
You are the driving force in your life, and to be reading these words, you have taken the first step towards change.
After working in the city and experiencing stress and overwhelm, I decided to retrain and become a qualified counsellor. My goal and passion is to work with you to reach emotional freedom from unwanted or reoccurring emotional difficulties.
Practice description
I offer two locations, Southchurch and Leigh-On-Sea from my own private practice -Life House Therapy.
We offer both talking therapies and alternative therapies. Please take a look at our website www.lifehousetherapy.co.uk to find out more.
Accessibility: If you would like to book an appointment in our Southchurch location, please be aware that there are 4 steps leading to the entrance. For wheelchair access, Leigh-on-Sea will be accommodating.
Both locations have onsite toilet facilities and bottled water is provided.
My first session
Our first session will include an initial get-to-know conversation. We will get the chance to agree on how we will work together moving forward. I will fill out an informal assessment, whereby you will only be asked to provide information that you feel is relevent.
I will also explain the way in which I work (person-centred therapy), simply meaning that you are at the centre of our sessions and that I will be led by you, ensuring that I am working neuturally and ethically as set out here in the BACP guidelines.
