About me and my therapy practice

I work with adults and children over the age of 16 and am passionate about counselling and helping people recover their identity and feel whole again after stressful events, loss or chronic trauma. I am mainly relational in my work and feel there is no greater catalyst for change thanoffering a calm, empathic and respectful place for people to talk. I enjoy seeing clients move forward and thrive after facing difficulties which have left them feeling stuck, becoming whole again. Together we can explore how it feels to be you, what is causing difficulities or challenge and how you would like things to change.

Practice description

My way of working is to be wholly accepting and validating of your experiences.  and I offer long or short-term counselling, depending on your requirements,  collaborating with you at the beginning as to how many sessions you would like. I work face to face on Thursdays in Deddington, Oxfordshire and am also available for online counselling Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays.

My first session

I offer a free, confidential chat on the phone as a first step to assess to your aims/goals of counselling and make sure we are the right fit to work together. This session is also to start building the relationship of trust with which to go forward as well as answer any questions or worries you may have about starting counselling. If this goes well we may then move forward to a first session either face to face or online depending on your needs and I will continue to build your client profile to make sure we are working to a 'shared agreement.'
