I offer sessions from Monday to Friday during the morning and afternoon. I also offer early evening sessions on Tuesday and Wednesday.
About me and my therapy practice
Are you struggling with life generally or experiencing relationship issues? Maybe something has happened that has unsettled you or perhaps you are feeling anxious, lonely or empty. Whatever the reason, counselling can help you to make sense of what you are experiencing. Working together, I can help you to gain an understanding into what is beneath your disharmony or distress and provide the opportunity to explore and reflect upon your feelings, thoughts and behaviours. In doing so, your self-awareness and insight will grow meaning greater choice for you to move forward.
As an Integrative Counsellor, I draw upon a range of theoretical models to meet individual needs. I believe the therapeutic relationship is key to finding new direction. My approach has its foundation in providing the right conditions to bring about personal growth and looks at how the past influences the present to identify unhelpful patterns. The mind and body are connected, therefore, I aim to work holistically to integrate the whole self.
My focus is to create a warm, safe and confidential space where you can make sense of what is bringing you to counselling: a calm space where you feel heard and valued. I provide an empathic, non-judgemental environment for you to share any concerns at your own pace. I will work alongside you and support you in achieving the changes you desire.
My first session
I offer a free 20 minute telephone call to gauge if how I work suits your needs and for you to gain a sense of whether I may be the right counsellor for you.
If you decide that you would like take the next step and I am able to offer what you are looking for, we can arrange an initial session. This will be for 50 minutes. At the end of the initial session you can decide if you would like to proceed with weekly sessions.
