About me and my therapy practiceMy therapeutic approach is collaborative and pluralistic. This means that, depending on each client’s particular situation, an experience of therapy is jointly created that aims to help that person get closer to their unique potential and desired life outcomes. This way of working is informed by humanistic principles and ideas from a broad range of philosophical and psychotherapeutic disciplines. These include psychodynamic theory and third wave cognitive-behavioural techniques that are pluralistically adapted to meet the needs of each individual client.
Each session lasts 60 minutes. Due to Covid-19 restrictions, I am only offering sessions via Zoom or Skype.
My first session
The first session is an opportunity for us both to meet and see if we might be happy working together. It might be that you decide you might prefer another therapist or a different way of working. Or I might decide, for instance, that the way I work might not fit with the kind of therapy you have in mind. For those reasons, this first session is free.
