About me and my therapy practice
Hello and welcome. I appreciate that taking the first steps towards change can often be daunting, so let me first start by saying well done for making it this far.
There can be many times in our lives where we may feel distressed. It might be that you have experienced loss through bereavement, or a break up of a relationship - or perhaps you're not sure why you feel the way you do. Often in life we may feel angry, sad, anxious, frightened or lonely and we may not always feel able to open up to our loved ones about how we feel.
You are not alone.
My name is Joanna Harris and I am a BACP registered, humanistic therapist. I believe that your story, your pain and what you are struggling with are unique to you. There is no one-size fits all approach to therapy, but it's my goal that together we can start your journey, in a safe environment where you will be able to talk through your issues, to feel understood and to feel confident that our work towards growth and optimism will be conducted in complete confidence
I have experience with helping a wide-variety of clients, from many different walks of life in feeling more calm, in control and hopeful for the future, and take great pride in their progress and success. I look forward to helping you too.
