My first session

Meeting for the first time – in person or online – gives us an opportunity to get to know each other and discover if it is possible to feel safe and build trust between us in order to address your difficulties and vulnerabilities.

It will give you an opportunity to ask questions and understand what your therapy might entail. I will be interested to hear what brought you to therapy and what changes you would like to make.

If we decide to work together, we will agree the fee and timing for our sessions. The first session also lasts for 50 minutes and will be charged at £50.

About me and my therapy practice

Life’s challenges sometimes wear us down affecting our mental well-being and relationships. When you need to re-evaluate and make new sense of yourself and your relationships, it can be very helpful to reach out to someone who is ready to listen and support you. Therapy can help you when you are feeling overwhelmed, stuck or going through a transitional phase. It can help you to make sense of the confusing messages and enable you to build more solid foundations so you can thrive.

As a therapist experienced supporting my clients with such difficulties, I work on the premise that you are the expert of your life and are ready to make changes with my support. The therapeutic process can help you build further inner and outer resources, develop a better relationship with yourself and others, uncover your hidden strengths and learn new skills. This way you can understand what’s important for you, integrate feelings and actions, change potentially self-destructive behaviours and embrace your inner capabilities to live an easier and freer life.

My integrated model is relational and psychodynamic that builds on attachment theory, neuroscience and body psychotherapy.

Qualifications: MA/Adv Diploma in Counselling and Psychotherapy (completing summer 2021), Diploma in Integrative Counselling, Psychology BSc, Diploma in Higher Education, Diploma in Psychiatric Nursing
