I offer face-to-face counselling in Milton Keynes, UK. If my location is not convenient for you and you live elsewhere in the UK, I can also work with you through "zoom" sessions.
About me and my therapy practice
I'm a qualified psychotherapist, experienced in working with many forms of emotional distress. My approach comes from a person-centered and emotion-focused standpoint, with a keen interest in a holistic approach. Through gentle exploration in a warm and safe environment, I open the space for you to explore your situation at your own pace, without judgment, recognizing everyone’s subjective experience. I aim to tailor my methods to best work for your needs and to maintain a relational connection so that your concerns can be addressed openly and received empathically. With my experience in mindfulness and art therapy, I love to hear about your creative interests and encourage you to use these in your therapy journey, if you so wish.
I have worked extensively in counselling and therapy with adults and young people of different ethnicity, religious and cultural backgrounds and have experience of working with a wide range of issues.
I offer sessions in English, and Chinese (Cantonese and Mandarin).
I offer face-to-face, and video sessions for international and local clients.

My first session
During the first session, we can explore what brings you to therapy and we can think together about your needs and what therapy might offer you. It will be a space for you to ask any questions you may have about me or the counselling process. It is also a time for me to understand what you are looking for in counselling and to get an idea of how you are. You can then book a further appointment if you wish.
