About me and my therapy practice

My main aim is to help people make their lives work better.

Whether you're seeing me as an individual, in a couple, or as a family, I work with you to assess your unique needs and tailor an individualised approach that will help you move forward.

People come to see me for a variety of reasons. Perhaps you would like to improve how you communicate with the important people in your life. Perhaps you’re interested in overcoming a challenge at work or in your personal life. Or maybe, like a lot of us, you’ve had time to reflect on your life recently and want to move forward from feeling “stuck.”

Whatever life issues you're facing, getting you the right tools to build a happier, healthier future is what my practice is all about. Therapy doesn't come in a one-size-fits-all model.

Practice description

Because it's important to create plans for individuals in spaces and times that are right for them, every client's counselling experience with me is a bit different.

That being said, no matter where we meet, you can expect an empathetic listener who offers you practical guidance on identifying and overcoming life issues.

In terms of where sessions take place, some of my clients prefer to see me online because of the pandemic, their work/commute schedules, etc. Online, I am open to meeting on the digital platform of your choosing, though Zoom seems to work best.

Currently, I am in the process of resuming face-to-face sessions in office settings. During the pandemic, some clients requested sessions outdoors. These were really effective for people that preferred less formal settings for face-to-face conversations. I will continue to offer outdoor sessions as well as office consultations. Office and outdoor sessions are based on West London, in the Ealing and Hammersmith areas.

My first session

No matter where our first session takes place, I will ask you to complete a short intake form prior to the initial session (basic things like your name, a checklist of topics you'd like to address, etc.)

Then, when we meet in our first session, we start setting goals for what you'd like to achieve as we progress. Depending on the issues you're facing, we discuss either a timeline for what we expect to achieve over a set number of sessions or we start to develop a road map for key changes we expect to see as we work to overcome obstacles.
