About me and my therapy practice
Welcome,
Navigating life's challenges on your own or feeling misunderstood, perhaps even by yourself, can be incredibly difficult. I am here to support you along the way: we will seek to understand your wishes, losses, hopes, and fears and work towards a happier, healthier way of being with yourself and others in the world.
I am a fully qualified therapist and counsellor, working in an integrative way. This means that I draw from a variety of therapeutic approaches to meet your unique needs.
In my counselling practice, I have worked at a local counselling agency and with a charity that supports carers. Through these experiences, I have helped clients across different age groups, from a variety of backgrounds, with a wide range of presenting issues.
Practice description
I work both online and in person at my consulting room.
I believe that the therapeutic relationship can become a powerful tool for change. So, I foster an empathetic, inclusive and reflective space where clients feel safety and acceptance without fear of judgement or discrimination. Here, we can explore your experiences, inner conflicts, different parts of self, and social identity. Although discussing certain experiences may be painful, it can lead to processing and healing, helping you feel newly empowered and truly heard.
My work is collaborative, ensuring you have choice regarding the content and pace of our sessions. Together, we will examine what holds you back and work towards achieving your goals.
My first session
To help you decide whether you would like to work with me, I offer an initial session at a reduced fee of £40.
In this first session, we will discuss your concerns, your goals for counselling, and how we can work together. I understand that starting counselling can be daunting, and I will do my best to put you at ease.
Please feel free to contact me if you have any questions before booking a session.
