About me and my therapy practice

During our lives, we all experience challenges. Having someone to talk to during those times, can help us to explore our concerns, make sense of our emotions, consider change and reconnect with ourselves.

I am a warm and caring Counsellor who will offer you a safe, private space to share your thoughts and feelings on the matters you are looking to work through, openly and confidentially.

I work with a combination of therapeutic counselling & coaching approaches which means that I will tailor the work to suit your needs and work alongside you to bring about change and increase wellbeing.

I have significant experience in working successfully with clients in areas including; anxiety, relationship problems, low mood & depression, bereavement, low self esteem, goal setting & achievement, separation & divorce, co-dependency, people pleasing, self harm and suicidal thoughts.

It's important to feel comfortable in counselling, so I offer an initial consultation to discuss your needs, what you hope to gain from counselling and how we may be able to work together.

Supervisor - Milton Keynes

Milton Keynes MK5
07399 934950
Sessions from £50.00

Features

  • Flexible hours available

Availability

In light of the current restrictions and high importance of social distancing surrounding Covid-19, I am offering supervision by way of telephone, online and WhatsApp video sessions.

Please do not hesitate to contact me with any questions you may have on remote working, thank you.

About me and my therapy practice

From my own experience, I understand that having the right supervisor can significantly impact your confidence, practice and progression as a Therapist. I work supportively, reflectively and with challenge where needed/wanted, with the aim of empowering my supervisees to maintain ethical standards, explore challenging case material, develop within their work, grow as a professional, identify strengths, enhance creativity and celebrate good practice.

I bring to sessions, considerations for the impact that personal life and circumstances can have upon work life, rather than viewing the work in isolation, to raise awareness of self-care needs and work-life balance. I also consider my working alliance with each supervisee as a two way learning process, taking an open and non-defensive approach as a life-long learner in the supervision process.

As an integratively trained therapist, I am able to draw upon a variety of theories and also offer alternative approaches to client work, helping supervisees with theory, skills and practice.

And just like my therapeutic approach, I work integratively as a Supervisor too, working with relational, developmental, coaching and systemic supervision models to inform my process.

I offer clinical supervision to counsellors in training, newly qualified therapists and experienced practitioners, trained in a variety of modalities and working in a wide range of settings.
