About me and my therapy practice
I’ve been helping people to manage life's challenges and transform their lives for the past 30 years. Through online and telephone counselling I help them to question the beliefs and behaviours that hold them back, rewrite their stories, and live life more fully and with less fear.
I’ve been providing telephone counselling for 25 years, and online counselling for more than eleven. Unlike most therapists that have been providing online counselling during the pandemic, this is how I normally work.

I practice as an integrative therapist, informed by evidence from research about what makes therapy effective. I also share that knowledge in a blog for fellow professionals.
As well as therapy I also offer online coaching and self-development. Whether it’s identifying and overcoming the blocks that stand in the way of specific goals or building a compelling vision of the future that you want to create for yourself, maybe I can help.
Do you have the sense that that life isn’t all it could be, that ‘there must be more to life than this?’ That maybe, in a parallel dimension, you’re living the life you really want in this one, if only you knew how to bring it about? Some years ago I trained in a transformational approach called Future Basing, which addresses exactly this challenge.

My first session
I make no assumptions that I can help you or that you’ll want to work with me. In the first session we talk about what’s brought you in touch at this point, and what you’re looking for. I want to know that I can help you, so it’s important that we share an understanding of what you want to achieve, how we might approach helping you get there and how long it might take.
If you feel confident in working with me on that basis, we should have a good foundation for our work together. As I outline in my free eBook most people experience real benefits early in therapy, so you may start to see changes sooner than you might imagine. Most clients I work with have on average between 8 – 15 sessions.
