My working hours
I offer daytime appointments both online and in person on Monday - Thursday. In person appointments are in Harrogate town centre. Evening appointments can be arranged Monday - Thursday online only.
I respond to enquiries 9am - 7pm Monday - Thursday.

About me and my therapy practice
Welcome and thank you for viewing my page.
All of us go through difficult and overwhelming times in our lives that can result in us feeling anxious, sad, alone and confused. We are often reluctant to share our feelings with friends and family for fear of worrying or upsetting them. Perhaps this is how you are feeling right now? If this is the case, you don't need to face your problems alone and talking them through with someone trained to help and support you can ease distress and enable you to work out what you need to move forward.
Together we can explore your feelings, thoughts, anxieties, memories or anything else you choose to bring. I will offer you a safe, confidential space where you can be yourself. You can expect to be listened to, understood and respected - free from interruption, judgement or assumption.
My core approach is Person-Centred, which means that it is you who decides what you would like us to look at and at what pace. Working together in this way will enable you to unlock your own solutions and discover what you would like to do. Increased self-awareness leads to the identification of new perspectives and options and brings greater clarity. When we are given the space to find our own answers, they have more meaning to us and are more effective and lasting.
My first session
Effective counselling is very much dependant on the strength, trust and connection within each unique therapeutic relationship. Therefore, I suggest we arrange an initial telephone call of up to 20 minutes (free of charge) to help us to decide whether I am the right person to accompany you on your counselling journey.
