About me and my therapy practice
• Overwhelmed, or stressed?
• Anxiety taking over your life?
• Fed up of feeling like this?
Hello, I’m Jen, I’ll listen without judgement and won’t tell you what to do, but will support you working out what you want to change. Counselling can change lives, I want to be part of helping you change yours – yes even in the middle of a global pandemic!
Although face to face sessions aren’t possible right now we can work online using a secure and easy to use system. There’s nothing to download and you can use it on any device with a forward facing camera. I’ve worked with people with anxiety, panic attacks, shame, guilt, depression, grief, isolation, relationship breakdown, work problems, family illness, ill health, stress, bereavement, chronic pain, separation anxiety as well as those struggling with autism, bipolar and generalised anxiety disorder. I'm a registered member of the BACP, with extra training in various areas such as anxiety, depression, working with self harm and working outdoors with clients.
Some of my clients have a formal diagnosis, others are looking to explore themselves further, and perhaps are looking to make sense of their feelings or past experiences. Is anxiety is taking over your life? Perhaps you can't shake your depression? Is there something niggling at you causing you unhappiness? Or maybe you’re a counselling student needing therapy as part of your studies. Whatever has brought you to read this page I’d be happy to start with an informal chat to see what we can do.
Practice description
Outside of lockdown I work in both Shrewsbury and Telford and can also work with you outdoors here in Shropshire. Ecotherapy or Nature Therapy or "Walk and Talk" can add another element to counselling giving you the opportunity to look at things in different ways. Some clients prefer it as feel it’s easier to talk when not sat face to face, whilst some prefer to work indoors in a more traditional way.
Whatever you prefer it’s up to you, but drop me an email, or give me a call and let's see how we might work together.
What I can help with
Anger management, Anxiety, Bereavement, Chronic fatigue syndrome / ME, Cultural issues, Depression, Health related issues, Identity issues, Life coaching, Loss, Personal development, Redundancy, Relationships, Self esteem, Self-harm, Sexuality, Stress, Women's issues, Work related issues
