About me and my therapy practice
Hi, I'm Rosie.
I am passionate about working with people, having worked as a nurse for 25 years and now as a therapist.
I work in a calm and tranquil clinic, on the Newbury/Thatcham border, just behind the West Berks Community Hospital, offering a quiet, confidential and safe space for clients to talk about what is troubling them.
I am an attachment-focused humanistic counsellor, which means I work in a very gentle, non-directive way. My aim is to slowly and warmly, through collaborative exploration, facilitate growth and change and help a client to come to a point where they feel more confident about living their life in the way that feels right to them.
I have a special interest in early attachments as well as childhood experiences and how these shape our personality and impact our current relationships.
I have experience of counselling both adults and young people, over the age of 14, as well as older adults.
I have worked with a variety of issues and am happy to take enquiries over the phone or email to discuss your needs and whether I am the right "fit" for you.
