About me and my therapy practice
Hello and thank you for visiting my page. I am an experienced and Accredited Person-Centred Counsellor (BACP Registered) who offers kind and compassionate counselling to adults and young people in both a face-to-face and online safe space.
As a counsellor who works both in private practice and in a comprehensive school, I appreciate that for young people and adults life can be very challenging in many ways, which is why choosing the right counsellor with whom to take that first step is of great importance.
The foundation of the Person-Centred Approach to counselling is based on the offering of empathy, kindness and compassion, and as my client this is what I would offer to you in every counselling session.
In our sessions together I would work to form a relationship with you to based on trust, taking small steps towards positive change in your life.
Additional Information
Prior to becoming a Counsellor in 2019 I worked in industry and have found that bringing my life experiences to my counselling practice can be helpful to my clients when required.
I have also spent many years volunteering to support adults and young people in the mental health sector and I have been heavily involved in grassroots football supporting young people.

Practice description
As a Person-Centred Counsellor I believe that potential clients will find me to be kind, genuine and honest.
I offer a free phone or Zoom call prior to counselling to discuss what your goals may be from counselling, and also to ensure as much as possible that I am the right counsellor for you.
My counselling practice is based in The Old Village Area of East Kilbride, where I am available for both face to face and online Counselling.
Parking is available and East Kilbride Railway Station is a short walk from my counselling room.
My first session
At the conclusion of your first session I will give you time to consider how you wish to proceed with future sessions.
A few days after your first session I will check in to see how you are feeling and book in further sessions if that is your wish.
