About me and my therapy practice
I am an experienced, fully qualified counsellor and psychotherapist.
I can help you with relationship issues, anxiety, or depression. We all want to feel in control, loved for ourselves, and valued. But there are times for all of us when we don't feel any of that.
You might be feeling that something is missing, or there must be more to life, feeling sad for no reason, or you may be struggling with life change or other issues. You can change things in your life, or live better with those things you can't change. Talking with a trained counsellor can be such a big relief, even if you can't change your current situation.
I help you work through your thoughts, feelings, and behaviour in a non-judgemental way. We'll work towards understanding where these comes from so we can change how you deal with them. Being listened to and understood can go a long way to help you deal with your issues.
Working with me:
I can offer you counselling as a short term service (up to 6 weeks), or psychotherapy as a longer term commitment, up to 2 years or longer, depending upon your needs.
I have worked for a number of years in a respected voluntary sector agency, with the NHS in a specialist psychotherapy service, and also in an Higher Education setting. Occasional concessions available for trainees.
