About me and my therapy practice
I am an experienced mindfulness-based gestalt counsellor with a passion for taking therapy outdoors into a variety of the restorative, tree-filled, natural spaces that are available in London. I offer Walk 'n Talk therapy sessions in the scenic outdoor setting of Battersea Park.
Practice description
Recently recognised by the World Economic Forum, spending time in natural surroundings, most specifically, as shown in the Japanese practice of forest bathing, around trees, can bring about improved levels of health and well-being. I have worked outdoors with clients suffering from anxiety, depression, low confidence, a sense of life being overwhelming, panic attacks and unrelenting stress, and I have witnessed numerous successful outcomes. I have come to trust the many therapeutic benefits that are available to us working outdoors in natural surroundings. Clients have additionally expressed their appreciation in having an alternative to sitting face-to-face in a therapy room.
