About me and my therapy practice
I am a professionally qualified counsellor offering a confidential, non-judgemental counselling service for young people and adults.
The aim of my practice is to help clients find resources to cope with issues and to identify, understand and resolve any underlying causes.
I offer you space and time to explore issues/problems and help you find new ways to live your life more effectively.
In addition to having experience working with anxiety, low-mood; bereavement; and loss; I have experience in working with people who have suffered trauma; those with suicidal thoughts; and those who self-harm.
My experience has been gained through working, not only in private practice, but also in working in the public sector (Belfast Trust) and voluntary sector (community counselling service).
Also, having had a successful 30-year career in the Finance profession, I am positioned to understand and provide counselling for the stresses and psychological impacts of a busy career.
My first session
Our first session together is free-of-charge and will last about 30 minutes.
It is an opportunity for us to meet without any obligation.
We will discuss what brings you to therapy and what you hope to achieve and you will have space to ask any questions you may have about how therapy works and what you can expect.
