About me and my therapy practice

Would you like to feel differently about your life, or at least how you approach the challenges you face? Adlerian Counselling supports you to recognise and understand the purpose of your own behaviour – why you do what you do. Adlerians believe that there is a purpose to all behaviour, and I can encourage and help you to gain insight and try new ways of being to ultimately achieve the changes you seek to achieve.

I am trained in Adlerian Counselling and Psychotherapy completing my diploma in 2010. Prior to this I obtained a Degree in Human Biology (BSc Hons) in 1992 and a Diploma in Social Work in 1994, and have extensive experience built up from working in the social care field for over 35 years, and more latterly in palliative care and bereavement counselling. Additionally I have undertaken training and work as an End of Life Doula.

Before booking an initial assessment session I offer a free telephone consultation to address any initial questions you may have and discuss if my way of working may be what you are looking for.
