About me and my therapy practice

During these unprecedented times you may face many new challenges. Being in isolation will evoke many new emotions and possibly unprocessed issues from the past, plus we are all facing loss on some level. Therapy can offer a dedicated space to talk, be heard, relate, and to make sense of the past and the present. People come to counselling for many different reasons, and with a wide variety of aims. I can offer you support through the Coronavirus, whether you are facing loss, bereavement, depression, anxiety or relationship difficulties.

Providing a safe, confidential and empathic space, I work to support you in exploring whatever it is that has brought you into therapy. I appreciate starting therapy can be a big decision, so please don’t hesitate to contact me by phone or email to discuss whether it might be right for you.

Training, qualifications & experience

I am a qualified Psychotherapeutic Counsellor in advanced ongoing clinical training. Using Relational Transactional Analysis, my approach is integrative, drawing on both Psychoanalytic and Humanistic principals. I work with relational difficulties, work related stress, trauma, loss, and kink (bdsm), but have a particular passion for working with people from minority groups who have experienced being marginalised by society. My practice is non-discriminatory, race and LGBTQ+ affirmative, with respect for the individuality, experience and value of each client.

Practice description

Although I am seeing some clients in person, I have moved most of my practice online to support individuals and couples through the Coronavirus outbreak. I use Zoom which is approved by the UKPC as a safe and confidential platform.  Please contact me for further details.
