About me and my therapy practice
Relationships are hard, and most people experience difficulties at some point. Yet it takes courage to seek help with such a private subject.
Whether you’re a couple having difficulties, or an individual struggling with relationships, I will provide you with a safe, confidential and non-judgemental space to work through whatever has been troubling you. Perhaps you are finding it harder to communicate, or you are having more arguments, or something unexpected – a bereavement, a job loss, an affair or an illness – has caused a rift in your relationship that you want to heal. Perhaps a relationship ended badly, and you want help to think through what happened.
I have a master’s degree in individual and couple psychodynamic psychotherapy from Tavistock Relationships, the internationally renowned centre of excellence in relationship therapy, where I remain a visiting clinician. I have completed additional trainings in couple therapy for alcohol dependency and in couple therapy for depression.
I have a particular interest in neurodiversity, and the strengths, as well as challenges, autistic people bring to relationships.
Depending on your needs, I may offer weekly open-ended therapy or I may recommend a time-limited approach, such as twenty sessions.
I work online and face-to-face from treatment rooms in central Richmond. I can offer evening and early morning times, as well as office hours, if required.
My first session
Please email me and we can arrange a time to have a brief chat about your needs. If we decide to go ahead, I'll offer you an initial consultation, where you can tell me more about what has been troubling you and we can decide if we want to work together.
