About me and my therapy practice
Hello, and welcome.
Taking the first step towards support can feel daunting, but you don’t have to face things alone. I provide a safe, confidential, and non-judgmental space where you can talk openly about what’s on your mind.
I work with adults and young adults (18+) experiencing anxiety, stress, low mood, relationship challenges, grief, trauma, and issues with self-esteem or identity. Together, we explore your experiences at a pace that feels right for you, using a compassionate, client-led approach tailored to your needs.
My goal is to help you understand yourself better, build resilience, and develop practical ways to cope. Many clients find therapy supports them through immediate difficulties while fostering long-term growth and self-awareness.
Areas I can help with:
Anxiety, stress, low mood | Relationships | Trauma | Bereavement | Self-esteem | Life transitions | Work-related stress
Sessions:
60 minutes, online or in person. I offer both short-term and longer-term therapy. A brief initial conversation is available if you’d like to see if we’re a good fit.
Support is available, and taking that first step can make a real difference.
Practice description
Life can sometimes feel overwhelming, leaving us unsure, anxious, or like we “should” feel happier than we do. Big changes, loss, stress, or even the lingering effects of global events can weigh heavily. For young adults, pressures around exams, assessments, or fitting in can feel intense.
I provide a safe, supportive space where you can talk openly about your thoughts and feelings. Together, we can explore what matters to you, navigate life’s challenges, and develop ways to cope that feel right for you. My goal is to help you feel heard, understood, and supported, so you can gain clarity, confidence, and a greater sense of balance.
Whatever you’re facing—anxiety, life changes, stress, or just feeling off—you don’t have to face it alone. I’m here to listen and help you find your way forward.
My first session
Before our first session, we begin with a free telephone or Zoom consultation. This is your opportunity to ask any questions you like, share a little about yourself, and explore how I might be able to help. We can also discuss how you would like to meet—whether in-person and face-to-face, or online via Zoom.
In our first session together, we focus on understanding what isn’t feeling right for you and where you would like things to be different. You may already know this, or it may feel unclear—and both are completely okay. We take time to explore your experiences, feelings, and concerns in a safe, supportive space.
We also discuss what you hope to achieve through counselling, the timescales you feel comfortable with, and what the journey might look like. My aim is to help you feel heard, understood, and supported as we start this process together, at a pace that feels right for you.
