In view of the evolving coronavirus outbreak, I am reviewing how I am delivering counselling. We can discuss how you would prefer to interact. I am following the BACP and UK government guidelines for containing the spread of the virus. I know this is a difficult time for many people and I want to help and support you through the sudden changes in yours and your families' lives.
About me and my therapy practice
Talking therapy is a way of clarifying your problems with someone to help you make sense of them and to see them in the context of your life and everything that has happened so far. It is no surprise that at times it can be a troubling event, a new challenge, or some discomfort in your life, that compels you to take the time to discover your inner strengths, your own worth, and what it will take to overcome these challenges.
When you can better understand yourself, you can move forward with choices that give you confidence in your ability to cope with day to day stresses and with any decisions that you want or need to make.
I have worked in the NHS for many years, in private practice and with young people who have grown up in difficult circumstances. I have experience with a wide range of life and relationship problems and have counselled countless people from diverse backgrounds and of different ethnicities and faiths.

I help couples as well as individuals. You are welcome whether heterosexual or LGBT+. It is normal for couples to experience ups and downs. This can lead to disssatisfaction with their relationship and make partners question whether they are really suited to each other. In couple counselling we will get to the heart of how you communicate. We will find out what is happening in your relationship and I will guide you to open up your communication and increase your confidence in handling conflict.
