About me and my therapy practice

I work with many clients who are struggling with anxiety, depression, and low self-esteem or who are navigating loss through bereavement, divorce or the end of a relationship.

I see clients who want to explore big life decisions around fertility and parenthood - such as whether to have children or not.

Women's health experiences regarding perimenopause and menopause are also part of my practice.

I offer a caring and confidential space where we can work through anxieties and concerns together.  A place to sit with difficult feelings, unpick the knots, soothe and gain clarity.

I recognise how our past can resonate down the years to affect our present.  My focus is to sit alongside you and together we can explore your experiences, feelings, relationships, hopes and fears to gain an understanding of what has gone before and how that can inform your future.

Experience

Previously I have worked for the Helen Rollason Cancer Charity, at the Herts & Essex Hospital, counselling patients with all types of cancer at all stages, throughout and after completion of their treatment and their carers.

I have also been a volunteer counsellor at the City & East London Bereavement Service in Tower Hamlets.

Training

Alongside my private practice, I am currently undertaking a Masters in Advanced Clinical Practice in Psychotherapy & Counselling at the Minster Centre, London (validated by Middlesex University).

Professional Diploma in Therapeutic Counselling (Integrative), BACP accredited training at the Mary Ward Centre, London.

Introduction to CBT, British Psychological Society

Foundation Certificate in Counselling Skills (person-centred), City Lit, London
