About me and my therapy practice
Do you feel stuck? lonely? nobody understands you? you feel anxious to go out? you cannot find the ways to cope? I understand how difficult it can be to do the first step, not knowing what to expect. Do not worry, I am here to support you through your journey to overcome stressful period providing a safe space where you can gain clarity you are looking for, focusing on your own needs and figuring out a new perspective.
I tailor my counselling approach to each unique client appreciating diversity in believing you have potential to grow. I would like to help you access your creative potential by overcoming psychological challenges. Often our ability to live a fuller life is blocked by issues, such as physical and emotional difficulties, anxieties, phobias and relationship issues. Everyone arrives to the therapy process at different stages. I am committed to meeting you where you are at as an individual, and can provide a safe, confidential and non-judgemental space with empathy and respect for you, your values and belief systems.
For several years I have been a Bereavement Volunteer with CRUSE. I help my clients to grieve and come to terms with their losses, helping clients to find new meaning after loss. I am passionate about serving the community and supporting organisations who ensure that counselling is accessible for everyone. In addition to my private practice, I volunteer with Mind and Cruse.
My background as an interpreter/translator working in the big international companies influenced my passion to help others to develop their potential and discover a deeper sense of purpose and meaning. Living and working abroad lead me to understand the world diversity in the bigger picture.
Going through different life stages, facing challenges of relocations, loss of friends, job, my independence – I understand how important to talk and share your fears of uncertainty.
I love supporting others, hearing their stories and empowering them on their unique journeys, whether that be to heal, to develop personally, to address difficulties in their lives or to find meaning and make sense of their circumstances. I consider the work that I do to be a privilege in supporting self-care and personal growth.
My first session
Covid-19 pandemic presented many unexpected challenges, isolation, loss and need for extra support. It is difficult to find a private space for self-care and relax. You need to talk through your concerns where you can focus on your own needs leading to inner peace. Online therapy can provide you a safe space avoiding risk of traveling during this difficult times.
