About me and my therapy practice
I am a psychodynamic psychotherapist and counsellor with experience of working with a diverse range of people within private practice, the charity sector and low-cost counselling services.
I am an accredited member of the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP).
I offer both long and short-term therapy either in person or online.
I work with a range of issues which include for example, ADHD, autism, anxiety, depression or sadness, bereavement, relationship breakdown, redundancy, work-related stress, sexual identity, abuse and trauma.
I offer a private and confidential space for you to explore, understand and make sense of your difficulties.
Insight gained within a contained, respectful and reflective environment can help you to think more clearly and gain a greater understanding of yourself.
My first session
In our first session we will explore your needs, reasons for seeking help and what you hope to gain from counselling. You will also get the chance to ask questions and get a better understanding of the work and me, so you can decide if you are comfortable to continue.
If you decide to start counselling we will agree a suitable time and fee for weekly, 50 minute sessions.
