I offer flexibility of sessions during the day or evening, recognising that life can not always be fitted in to 9-5.
I offer an initial free 30 minute no obligation introductory session where we can discuss times, meet each other and look at what you would like to get out of counselling.
About me and my therapy practice
As a qualified counsellor, I have experience of working with young people and adults in a holistic, person centred way. I see each person as an individual, acknowledging and respect the courage it takes to open up and talk about your feelings. I believe that you are the expert in your life and I am here to help you realise that.
In a previous life before Counselling, I have worked in a variety of educational roles leading me to have 20 years experience of working with children and young people. This, alongside having 2 teenagers of my own, has led me to having an interest in Creative Therapy as an alternative way to help people express themselves and this is something that I can use working with clients if requested.
Based in Wigan Town Centre, I am able to provide a safe and comfortable space for you to explore your thoughts and feelings in a non-judgemental and non-judgemental environment but also offering telephone and online counselling sessions if this is something that works better for you.
My first session
I offer a free initial 30 minute introductory session. This can be face to face, telephone or online, whichever best suits your needs. The initial session will give us the opportunity to meet each other, answer any questions that you may have and look at what you would like to get out of counselling. If you're happy to continue, then we will book the first proper session. Sessions are usually carried out on a weekly basis unless agreed otherwise.
