I am a qualified and experienced BACP registered Counsellor & Therapeutic Well-being Coach. I specialise in helping people 18 years and over, manage anxiety, stress, loss, low mood, boost confidence, build self esteem and resilience...
I am an experienced Counsellor and Therapeutic Coach, with experience of working in the NHS, a University setting. I work with people aged 18 and over, long/short term, who want to manage anxiety, stress, overcome low mood, boost confidence, build self-esteem and resilience.
I offer a gentle, non-judgmental, and supportive form of Counselling or Coaching, both are both positive steps for self-development and problem solving. If you are not sure which is for you:
Counselling sessions provide a safe, confidential space to say what you need to say, explore different ways of looking at a problem, you can work out a way forward, which can lead to positive change, being less anxious, sleeping better and improving decision making. Counselling helps with anxiety, stress, worry, loss and relationships
Coaching can be a recipe for well-being, helping you to identify what emotional needs are not being met in your current lifestyle. Coaching is a supportive, impartial, and non-judgmental, helpful when you are stuck at a crossroads and looking to make a change in your life. Coaching aims to provide the essentials of good mind management and provide a toolbox of easily understandable skills to help you respond mindfully to life events, make good choices, and move towards your preferred future.
Coaching helps with issues of procrastination, increases confidence, builds resilience, decision making, life or career direction, feeling stuck.
I adhere to the BACP Ethical Frameworks. I attend regular Supervision to support my work. Fully insured, and DBS checked.
Limited face to face therapy, telephone or on-line counselling using Zoom. This has benefits, because it means that you can work with me from the comfort of your own home. This also has the benefit of allowing me to be more flexible in arranging appointments.

This is a getting to know you session, to explore what your hopes are for counselling and what you hope to achieve. We can assess whether the style of counselling/coaching I offer fits with your requirements and, if so, how we will work together
