About me and my therapy practice
Rebecca O’Donovan - Counselling Therapy in north London.
Phone: 07939 005656.
Hello, and welcome to my page.
I offer therapeutic counselling in person, at my private practice in N15. Which is close to Seven Sisters tube and BR station. I provide visitors permits for those who drive and I have a bench in my front garden to wait for your session time.
I am also a qualified Online Counsellor. Which means I am able to offer you the choice of either in person counselling, or online counselling. Some clients find a mixture of both works well with their responsibilities and busy lives.
Whether your returning to counselling or are new to it, finding someone you feel comfortable with helps. So a first (initial) session holds no obligation. It is simply a chance to meet, discuss what brings you to therapy and have any questions you have, answered.
Please feel free to contact me with any questions. I aim to get back to you promptly.
My qualifications: I hold a BACP Accredited Diploma in Counselling and a Foundation Degree in Counselling from Middlesex University. I also hold a Pg Dip in Management and a BA (Hons) in Early Years.
I currently work in Private Practice. In recent years I also worked as a counsellor for: MIND in Haringey, the NSPCC on Childline, and Change, Grow, Live. A drugs and alcohol agency in Camden.
I engage in continuing professional development with the BACP and other recognised organisations.
Professional Memberships:
British Association of Counsellors and Psychotherapists (BACP)
The Person-Centred Association (TPCA)
Association for Counselling and Therapy Online (ACTO)
