About me and my therapy practice

How do you feel right now? Can you put a word to that feeling? Feelings can often go unchecked and we don't notice until we feel overwhelmed. In modern life we are constantly bombarded with information and feel pressure to make decisions. We anxiously think about the future and regretfully think of the past. Unable to find peace in the now. A therapist can act as a companion who can help you explore your feelings in a safe environment. Help you learn more about yourself. We all have aspects of our personality that we keep hidden from others and even ourselves. Together we can explore these aspects. The therapeutic process of raising personal awareness can help you make peace with your thought’s feelings and emotions. You may have a specific issue or a want to understand why you feel the way you do. I can help you explore these issues through therapy and provide new perspectives to allow you to make more fulfilling life choices. Therapy can also develop your ability to see life’s challenges as new opportunities. I offer face to face and online therapy. You can email, text, whatsapp or phone me to arrange a free 15-20 minute consultation.

Practice description

I am an integrative counsellor with experience in working with Anger management issues, Abuse, bereavement and loss, anxiety, depression, stress, self-esteem, work related issues and resilience building. I have supported clients in various roles across the public and voluntary sector.

All sessions are tailored to meet your needs. In the sessions, we may explore how past relationships influence the present. We may explore the origins of emotions such as shame or guilt manifest in the present day. By understanding the origins of these emotions we can learn to meet them with self-compassion and treat ourselves with the care we deserve.  Through our journey, we will acquire tangible techniques to create a conducive environment that allows us to fully embrace and savor the present. Simultaneously, we will acknowledge and reconcile with our past, finding solace and tranquility in the process.

I am a Registered Member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (MBACP) Accred. I hold a BSc Counselling and Psychotherapy from Middlesex University.

My first session

I offer a free 15 - 20 min consultation which can be done over the phone or by zoom(If it is appropriate).
