About me and my therapy practice

Hello, I'm Hazel.

I understand how daunting it can feel to reach out. This is the first step, so thank you for visiting my profile.

I am a BSc qualified Person Centred Counsellor and a Certified Online & Telephone Counsellor.

If you're looking for a safe space where you can feel heard, please contact me to arrange a free online consultation (fifteen minutes) where we can discuss what has brought you to therapy at this time, how we could work together and aim to answer any questions you may have. I work with people from all walks of life and hope to offer you a warm welcome into therapy.

My Therapeutic Experience

After successful experiences within my own personal therapy, I began training as a Person Centred Counsellor in 2015.

I graduated from The University of Salford with a First Class Honours Degree in Counselling & Psychotherapy: Professional Practice.

I have counselling experience with the NHS, secondary schools and within private practice, working with young people, adults and older adults from all walks of life.

Trainee CBT Practitioner

Are low mood & depression the main areas of your distress?

I am currently studying Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (Post-Graduate Diploma). CBT focuses on the links between our thoughts, feelings & behaviours. While I further my studies I am offering a heavily reduced rate (£20 per session) to people that would like to engage in CBT for low mood/depression. Together we can explore the patterns in your life that may be preventing you from moving forwards and practice interventions with the aim of breaking the cycle you may currently feel stuck in.
