About me and my therapy practice
Hi, my name is Aashima Aggarwal, and I'm a fully trained and qualified counsellor and psychotherapist. I have over 10 years of experience providing counselling/therapy services. My educational background includes a Masters in Psychology, a Post Graduate Diploma in Counselling and a Post Graduate Certificate in Education.
I provide a safe and confidential environment where I use my main superpower, the ability to listen intently and reverently, to understand and provide a unique therapeutic process to the individual using a combination of therapies and techniques including meditation, emotional freedom technique (tapping), and talking therapies (such as CBT, where appropriate).
Successful counselling/therapy firstly starts with the willingness to help yourself. With this foundation, can we build the core blocks of trust and openness and thus a meaningful counselling relationship that will lead to successful outcomes.
I have a lot of experience helping deal with a variety of concerns, but am especially skilled to address the following:

I am currently offering a concession for NHS and key workers at £35/hour.

My primary place of work is in Southgate, North London (about 10 minutes from Southgate tube station). I can accommodate my services in London counselling rooms (which can be discussed during the initial consultation).
My first session
The initial session is a free 20-30 min call to discuss the process of therapy, how sessions are divided, session fees, and how I can provide help.
The following two sessions are reserved as assessment sessions which gives me an opportunity to full assess the concerns, the types of therapies and treatments that will be relevant and how impactful these will be.
Following on from this, the remaining sessions will focus on helping to resolve the main concerns. This is done through a variety of therapies and techniques, and feedback sessions, and scheduling sessions on a regular interval to help you develop the best possible course of a resolution.
