About me and my therapy practice
Hello, my name is Lucy, I am a person centred therapist and have experience in helping people who have faced difficulties including, low self-worth/self-esteem, anxiety, loss, stress, lack of trust, grief, anger, relationship issues and conflict, work related problems, low mood, depression, but this list is not exhaustive.
I offer a way of helping, by being alongside you, whilst we explore together your difficulties, at your pace, and in your time, taking gentle steps, safely and in a direction that you chose. I will offer you a safe a warm environment so that we can explore ways to help you overcome difficulties
Alongside my experience counselling adults, I have ten years’ experience working in secondary school, some of which involves offering guidance and support to young people.
As a member of the British Association of Counsellors and Psychotherapists I abide by the professional standards set out in the BACP Ethical Framework for Counsellors and Psychotherapists and can provide both short-term and long term counselling to individuals including evening and weekend appointments.
