About me and my therapy practice
My own Life journey is one of the main foundations for my client work. I view therapy as an exploratory venture which some of us choose to undertake in order to get to know ourselves better and to improve the quality of our day-to-day living.
As a senior-accredited practitioner I have many years of training and a wealth of experience, having worked as a psychotherapist in a wide variety of settings and with a broad range of clients, including a number of years in the psychotherapy department of a London NHS teaching hospital and over 20 years in an ever-evolving private practice.
I have also worked for many years as a mental health awareness trainer with MIND-in-Kingston and as a staff trainer and supervisor at Roehampton University.
It is so important to find a therapist with whom we feel a connection, and I would encourage you to speak with more than one of us to get a sense of what/who feels right for you.
I am well-equipped with both Life and therapeutic experience and would be more than happy to explore with you whether I feel to be the 'right fit' for you at this time.
