About me and my therapy practice

I am a fully qualified and experienced counsellor and CBT Therapist based in Ashton Under Lyne and surrounding areas. I am also a member of the BACP Professional Register. I offer Counselling with a Humanistic Approach and can integrate CBT(Cognitive Behaviour Therapy) and other interventions in the sessions if I think it will be beneficial to you.

I was inspired to train as a counsellor when many years back, after years of anxiety/depression and emotional issues, and the breakdown of relationships, I took that first step to go for help and that is when my life began to change, it was the best thing I ever did, therefore, I truly know that counselling changes lives and I believe we all have a right to lead a happy and fulfilled life, unfortunately things from the past can affect our lives in the now, they can influence and drive our thoughts, feelings and behaviours on a unconscious level and not always in a positive way.

I offer you a safe place to unravel your life, your thoughts feelings and behaviours and to help and guide you to develop and have a better understanding of who you are. Helping you to promote positive changes in your life.

I am a fully trained Person Centred Counsellor, Cognitive Behaviour Therapist. I also have a diploma in Mindfulness Therapy, Inner Child Healing and Couples and Family Therapy. Also Healing Trauma/More Than Words and how trauma gets stuck training.

Everyone has their own story and I am here to listen to yours. I have experience working with a wide range of people, from all walks of life and I offer counselling that is tailored to suit your individual needs.

Practice description

I am committed to offering you a safe space to share whatever is bothering you, no matter how big or small.
