About me and my therapy practice
I have trained to work Integratively, combining the Person Centred (PCT) approach with Attachment Theory (AT) and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT). This enables my approach to both understand and make sense of any underlying problems and patterns affecting you and your life (AT), provide solutions to presenting issues that arise (CBT), all while prioritising the creation of a space in which you can feel safe and supported in exploring what are often very difficult parts of you (PCT).
Practice description
I have been in practice since 2018, and have worked in a variety of mental-health settings including adult, older adult, in-patient, community and forensic for the NHS, voluntary and private sectors since 2008.
I practice from a large and comfortable therapy room in Derby city centre, and welcome individuals and couples looking for face-to-face therapy. I am also able to offer a variety of online/telephone options as per each client's preferences.
