About me and my therapy practice
As an experienced counsellor and psychotherapist, I offer long and short term therapy to adults with a range of questions about their lives, as well as difficulties and struggles.
My belief and hope is that counselling can provide the space, support and safety for people to make sense of their issues and experiences, and to find a way forward with their lives.
I have a great deal of experience working with clients who face challenges with parenting, grief and also depression, anxiety, loneliness and hopelessness.
Practice description
I have worked as a counsellor and psychotherapist for over twelve years in a variety of settings including counselling agencies, a hospice, a sixth form college and also in private practice. I have worked on zoom during the pandemic and will offer clients the choice as to whether face to face or on line counselling is more appropriate.
I am drawn to helping people to understand and manage their emotional pain. I see therapy as a journey and I like to travel alongside my clients as they find a way forward.
My first session
I like to offer clients a free initial half hour phone call to assess whether I am the appropriate therapist, and to see if we would work well together. The first session is then a deeper exploration of the issues and expectations as well as an overview of how I work.

About me and my therapy practice
As an Integrative supervisor, qualified to work with individuals and groups from all modalities, I bring a range of theoretical perspectives and ideas to my work with supervisees. I do however feel that the core of my supervision work is person centred as I believe we bring ourselves to supervision as well as specific client issues and struggles.
Practice description
I particularly enjoy one to one supervision, as it enables me to understand the essence of the therapist and the way they work, as well as spending time considering their client work. My stance is genuinely non judgemental with the focus on understanding and exploring together.
I usually work face to face, however during the pandemic I have been working on Zoom. Going forward my aim would be to offer choice to supervisees and hopefully combine both face to face and online work.
My first session
I offer potential supervisees a free initial session to see if we can work together. I then work out with each individual what they need in terms of supervision hours and/or any extra support.
