About me and my therapy practice
I create a warm and nurturing, non-judgemental space in which we can explore the challenges in your life that have led you to seek professional help.
As an integrative therapist, I am able to employ a wide range of therapeutic ideas and approaches so that I may be able to respond to your individual and unique needs as a client.
I am particularly interested in the Arts and Creativity and much of my practice involves freedom of expression and catharsis. I also make extensive use of humanist and psychodynamic models.
This helps my practice to be equally at home in long or short-term work.
I trained at The Minster Centre, in London. This is one of Eurpoe's leading counselling and psychotherapy training institutions. I graduated with a BACP accredited Diploma in Integrative Counselling.
Previously, I read for my B.Mus (Music). I have recorded and performed internationally and am a busy artist, producer and composer.
These two disciplines are a powerful combination, as I believe that authentic and fulfilling self-expression is the very wellspring of happiness.
As well as my qualifications, it's true to say that I've lived a life or two ! As a counsellor, my life experience is one of my most valued resources.
