About me and my therapy practice
Experiencing stress, relationship issues, or challenging life transitions? It's normal to seek guidance and support. I can help you overcome difficult times by highlighting your strengths and skills, through psychological insight. We'll work together to improve your wellbeing. I am a bilingual therapist with over 20 years of experience in the mental health field working with individuals, couples and families. Your mental health is priceless so it is vital to ‘invest in you’ to improve your state of mind and outlook on life.
My experience includes working with those who suffer from depression, anxiety, and adjustment issues. My philosophy is based on the client/therapist relationship, strengths-based approach, and solution-focused therapy. I have worked in private practice and community based mental health clinics in the United States as a Licensed Professional Counselor in Texas, and I am now a registered therapist with the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (MBACP).
I have helped many people by strengthening their resilience, social skills, and self-expression. Some of my clients have experienced loss, trauma, and high conflict. I challenge my clients in sessions and additional assignments are sometimes given in order to further individual growth. I encourage you to find someone you feel comfortable with and meets you where you are in your life so that you can work together on reaching your personal goals.

I will guide you in this first session in order to help increase your comfort level. We will start to explore your current stressors and struggles in order to identify what is already working and what can be improved upon. You can go at a pace that feels right to you.
