Practice description
I have an advanced Diploma in Counselling Supervision (an NCS Accredited training), and I can offer clinical supervision to both trainees and fully qualified counsellors as well as other professionals.
My aim is to work collaboratively and non judgementally with you, providing a trustworthy space where you can explore, and review your counselling work.
Examining a holistic context, regarding your client, and your self. The impact your work may have upon yourself and your future development.
In my experience I have found that the work that we do as therapists is often in isolation, especially if we are private and self employed therapists. However what ever setting we may work in there is always the chance that we can be presented with unexpected ethical issues or dilemmas in the course of a session.
I feel that it is of paramount importance to find the right space for yourself where there can be a balance of non judgemental safety, yet a space where you can meet your self in an open and transparent manner.
I hope to offer you ; Supervision that can offer a chance to review your self care and a space to develop self confidence and self growth, whilst holding your clients requirements at the heart of our work.
My first session
I offer a free 30 minutes phone call or zoom space where we can meet to explore your requirements and if we are matched to work together. Where we can plan a future contract together.
The first session of 90 minutes allow for your case load, training needs/interest and personal requirements can be discussed and explored to sculpt your session and future sessions to shape your overall requirements.
