Whilst you can contact me at any time, I may be in a session with a client, and I ask that you leave me a message with your preferred contact number, your name and a short message and I aim to respond to your message within 2 working days.
About me and my therapy practice
I am a humanistic and integrative counsellor working within Birmingham and online.
My aim is to meet each person as an individual and where they are in life. Exploring with you what is happening, your feelings and emotions, which are stopping you from achieving all your hopes and dreams.
I believe that under the right circumstances we all have the ability to grow and flourish and my aim is to walk alongside you, supporting you to a greater understanding of yourself.
I hold a BSc (Hons) in Humanistic and Integrative Counselling and Psychotherapy from the Sherwood Psychotherapy Training
Centre and Parking Info
I work from comfortable premises in Oldbury which is easily accessible by public transport with roadside parking.
I also offer sessions online via Cliniko, Clients are asked to arrange a suitable venue for virtual sessions so that confidentiality can be maintained.
My first session
My first session is a full-length full-price session (50 minutes). However, I offer a free 10-minute phone consultations to see if we can work together. The assessment session gives us both the opportunity to meet and explore how we might work together to support you.
When an assessment is booked I will ask for an email so a booking confirmation and appointment reminder (including online links). The process for the meeting is roughly the same for face-to-face or online appointments.
During the assessment I will write take down some practical details as well as some relevant information to aid me to build a clearer picture of your therapy needs, I aim to keep the session as warm and friendly as possible, offering immediate support where necessary.
At the end of the assessment, you will not be pressured into making a commitment to further therapy. I will encourage you to take your time and think about what you want to do.
