About me and my therapy practice

Life is complex; talking about matters that deeply impact you is difficult for everyone. That is why the role of a therapist is critical in bringing those issues to light, helping you talk about them, understand them, and overcome them. That is exactly why I am dedicated to providing a safe space in which personal concerns, conflicts, and problems can be explored in trust and confidence – a setting where new solutions to old problems can be found.Whether you are tackling immediate problems or more deep-seated issues – from childhood to present day – I bring a curious, non-judgmental, experienced approach to support the goal of unlocking development and growth potential. If you are facing anxiety, relationship issues, depression, sadness, panic attacks, low self-esteem, bereavement, we can approach the important influences in your life together, focusing on a better quality of life.My background includes working with the pressure of careers on life, work-life balance, maintaining professional and person relationships, and developing friendship. I have worked with adults, adolescents on; abuse, relationships, depression, anxiety, loss, chronic illness, anger, violence and Adoption issues.Everyone is unique; requirements are different so I bring a flexible approach to the sessions, whether that is on a short or long term basis. I offer an initial consultation to explore with you what you may be looking for, and what may be the best way to help you bring meaning to your life, bring clarity, and empower you to build a more positive future.I have a BSc (Hons) Psychology, Diploma in Psychoanalytic Psychotherapy, studied an MSc in Integrative Psychotherapy. During and prior to training I worked within the NHS, Government service (Forensics) and Private practice. I am a registered and accredited member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (MBACP) and follow their code of ethics and professional practice guidelines.
