About me and my therapy practice

I am an Integrative/Holistic therapist trained to a degree level (BSc Hons) I offer Psychotherapy and Counselling, incorporating,  Mindfulness, Meditation and Wellbeing sessions.

When you are experiencing thoughts and feelings that you are not able to process alone, Counselling/Psychotherapy can be a way of making sense of them and helping you to move forward with your life.

I have a genuine and warm character and real desire to help you. Whatever your issue, a long term problem, an immediate crisis or if you are just feeling stuck. I am able to offer you a calm space where you have the opportunity to explore what has prompted you to seek counselling.

Practice description

Looking together at what has brought you to therapy we will work to untangle what has brought to to see me. We cant change past experiences, but we can learn to view them in a way that does not make us feel sad, angry or upset.

I aim to help clients gain a healthy work/life balance. At the end of our sessions you will have a 'Virtual tool box' to take with you as you continue your journey through life. I am experienced in working with both one to one and couples counselling. I will work with you in an Integrative/Holistic way. Drawing from different models of therapy allows me to tailor each session to your particular needs. Sessions can be long term/short term/time bonded.

My first session

aim to make the fist session one in which you feel comfortable, I can not know how you might be feeling, but I do remember my first therapy session (I was required to undergo my own therapy whilst in training) It initially felt awkward to be talking to a stranger. However this person 'got' me and I felt totally heard, perhaps for the first time in my life. This is what I aim to offer you.
