About me and my therapy practice
Being able to talk about our problems is essential in helping tackle life's challenges. Counselling help us better understand why we think the way we do and whey we feel the way we feel. Counselling can support and encourage you to make the right decisions and choices and help you to see your situation from a different perspective which can have a positive influence on your life.
I am an experienced practitioner who has worked with a wide range of clients in a variety of settings. I provide a confidential, safe, non-judgmental environment within which to explore and understand your difficulties whilst working towards resolving them.
Talking therapies can offer the help and guidance you need to cope with life’s unexpected events and their associated feelings. It can be short or long-term treatment for issues you may have recently become aware of, or deep-rooted difficulties which you had not been ready to deal with.
Although counselling can be part of a much broader package of treatment, it is usually a very effective stand-alone therapy for specific problems. If, however, the counselling session reveals a more deep-rooted, long term issue, then i will advise you on further treatment options that may be required to get you to where you want to be.
