About me and my therapy practice

In a peaceful and confidential environment, I offer you an opportunity to explore aspects of your personal life and to challenge emotional difficulties that you may feel unable to share with friends or family. Working in partnership with your counsellor will enable you to pursue significant life enhancing change and to rectify unhelpful patterns of living. Understanding, empathy and care can often help you to access inner resources to cope with the demands and challenges of life and to make lasting change.

I have 19 years experience of working with adult individuals, couples, older adults and voluntary counselling organisations.

I offer both short and open-ended counselling to suit the individual client, using an approach which integrates psychodynamic therapy, (how past experiences affect present behaviour and feelings) with relational, attachment and cognitive-behavioural therapies (CBT).
